During 5778, Jews around the world have celebrated the milestone of the State of Israel's 70th birthday. Our joy and expression of gratitude to the Almighty reached a crescendo on Yom Ha-Atzma'ut, but as Rosh Hashanah 5779 approaches and this special year comes to a close, the Orthodox Union presents this collection of essays to honor the occasion and reflect upon its significance.
